\u00a0And yet, while Hurricane seems not to like her sister much, whenever either of them is challenged by another cat the other sister immediately runs to her aid!<\/p>\n<p>Hurricane often claims Deb&#8217;s chair at breakfast, and gets very upset if moved. \u00a0Many times we pull a third chair up to the table.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blockschwenkcollective.com\/cool_by_osmosis\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/five-cat-morning.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-199 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blockschwenkcollective.com\/cool_by_osmosis\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/five-cat-morning-1024x859.jpg\" alt=\"five cat morning\" width=\"530\" height=\"445\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blockschwenkcollective.com\/cool_by_osmosis\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/five-cat-morning-1024x859.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blockschwenkcollective.com\/cool_by_osmosis\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/five-cat-morning-300x252.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blockschwenkcollective.com\/cool_by_osmosis\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/five-cat-morning.jpg 1230w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 530px) 100vw, 530px\" \/><\/a>A lazy, weekend morning. \u00a05 cats are around, but our little diva Hurricane gets the lap!<\/p>\n<p>I have a confession about her name: \u00a0many people assume that her name is from Hurricane Katrina. \u00a0In fact, she was born two years after the storm. \u00a0Read on for the actual inspiration&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blockschwenkcollective.com\/cool_by_osmosis\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Hurricane.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-195\" src=\"https:\/\/blockschwenkcollective.com\/cool_by_osmosis\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Hurricane-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Hurricane\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blockschwenkcollective.com\/cool_by_osmosis\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Hurricane-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blockschwenkcollective.com\/cool_by_osmosis\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Hurricane.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a>This is a contemporary photo of a Hurricane fighter, one of two fighters used by the British during the &#8220;Battle of Britain&#8221; in 1940, when Great Britain stood alone and Hitler&#8217;s air force tried&#8211;and failed&#8211;to knock out Royal Air Force Fighter Command in order to make a cross-channel invasion of England possible \u00a0(Had the British fighter defenses been knocked out, German bombers could have protected an invasion fleet.) \u00a0Had the British defenses not held, WW2 would have ended before the Untied States got involved! \u00a0Here&#8217;s the one second I managed to get her to stop moving.<\/p>\n<p>If you look closely at both the photo and the first photo of this post, it appears that her nose is dirty.
